I'm a Media Arts and Design and Cinema student at the University of Chicago with a growing passion for stop-motion animation—especially clay animation, which I find deeply expressive and immersive. I love working with my hands and experimenting with color, motion, and film to bring imaginative ideas to life.
As someone studying both media arts and film, I draw from each discipline to craft animations that are both visually dynamic and emotionally resonant. My process is intuitive: I usually begin with a loose idea or a character in mind and let the story unfold organically. I rarely follow a set script or outline—my work develops in the moment, guided by instinct and curiosity.
I'm heavily inspired by the surreal textures and emotional depth of Allison Schulnik, as well as the impressionistic sensibilities of artists like Édouard Manet, Edgar Degas, and Paul Cézanne. All of my digital work is created using Adobe Creative Suite.
My most recent piece, Untitled, is also my senior capstone project. It explores the experience of engaging with art in physical spaces and reflects my deep appreciation for both artistic process and presence.
